Get Intimate with the Queen City Of the South

Simala, Sibonga

Location: Monastery of the Holy Eucharist, Simala, Sibonga

I went to the Monastery of the Holy Eucharist in Simala, Sibonga today to reflect and find myself. Hehehe. I’m so glad I tagged along. Enjoy the pics!

A quick meal in Carcar.

Wow! Awesome view, awesome day!

With Mama Mary

I specifically asked leylander to do a b/w for me.

At the pond.

Taking a break from the afternoon heat.

Wishing well!

People-watching on a tree is fun!

Ahhh! Lunch! hehehehe.

just tell the driver or the conductor that you’re getting off simala in sibonga. a lot of tricycles by the road will be waiting to take you to the convent.

Please for all those people who have gone to simala, no offense but this is reality, i hope u pipz understand who is our God, and NOT Mary. Those statues, built by men, are not worthy to be worshiped and the worst to be kissed! That is wrong! Our Lord is not made of stone and built by human hands…He is in heaven! And please dont adress your prayers to Mary coz she is not our God! She is just one of the creation of our Lord, like us, she’s also a sinner. Why not adress your prAyers directly unto our Lord. And you know what, NO PLACE on earth will bring you closer to God. It is your RELATIONSHIP with HIM thAt will drAw you to him closer. i hope you guys have been reading your bibles and please dont be attached to traditions coz most of it is contradicting the passages from the Bible. I hope this message have brought light unto your minds and please keep an intimate relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. coz he’s the only one deserving for our worship, prayers, and the one who should be thanked of, not those MAN MADE StatUES. read your Bibles And Godbless..

We been to Simala just a week ago, this place is so amazing! When I entered the place, I realy felt I was touch by the Holy Spirit.
Althought this is still under renovation but still the place is so beautiful. People visit – come and go but we make it sure we remember that this place is holy and sacred. Please observe silence.

I have couple of wishes and dreams I prayed and continuing praying that God grant us a gift of child someday in HIS time and with the intercession of our dear Blessed Mama Mary of Simala.

Please visit this place if have the chance. God bless us all.

via bus> go to the cebu south bus terminal. I suggest u ride a bus going for argao (more spacious compared to mini bus)…just tell the conductor to drop you off in simala. from there u can ride a motorcycle.

thru v-hire> pls go to the citi link terminal. look for vhire going to simala and from there u can ride motorcycle or pedicab.

      • lee pestaño December 7, 2012 at 9:28 am

how much the fare for v-hire to simala, and also the motorcycle or pedicab in going to that place, compare to bus ?

The nearest hotel where you can comfortably stay is in Carcar City. It only takes 30 minutes drive from Carcar to Simala, Sibonga crossing and stop there to ride a tricycle or habal-habal towards the Mama Mary shrine
