Every year, families flock to the Sugbu compound at the South Road Properties for the annual Kasadya sa SRP. The Kasadya sa SRP is basically one huge carnival mixed with food strips and bazaars. Government-approved fireworks are also sold at a separate lot during this event.
I decided to check out the event and covered the scenes before and after sundown. The SRP is definitely is shaping up to become one of the biggest shopping, commercial, and lifestyle destinations in Cebu and even in the Visayas. Here are some photos taken during the event.

‘Infinity Pools’ at the SRP. Gorgeous, right?
If I am not mistaken, this is part of the ‘beach development’ that was reported in the dailies a couple of times in the past.
The pools, facing the Mactan Channel, look really awesome.
This strip is the ‘beachfront’ of FilInvest’s lot at the SRP. This area will soon house a commercial strip and a yatch club.

Gorgeous. Perfect for afternoon walks. But loitering is not allowed at the SRP. Hehe.

And one of the most enduring perya games – the coin toss. You toss a 25-cent. And if it lands right in the middle of one of those squares on the board, you win a prize!
