Here are some photos of the Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Bogo. The shrine is situated on top of a hill. To get to the shrine, you have to climb up the stairs which can be seen along the highway. I think you have to take 163/66/150 steps (not really sure) to get to the top. If you can’t take the long climb, or if you have a car, you can take a small rocky road which leads to the back gate of the shrine. The shrine is hard to miss. If you see a giant statue of Mama Mary, you’re in the right place.

I don’t think I can handle 163 steps, but in a car to the back gate of the shrine, it’s more like it. =) Pahibalo, in other words, no hanky panky. lol

Lovely place, we been here Jan.2008 on our way to Bogo to visit friends. We go thru the back gate because of my mom. Few of us going down the steps. Lucky there is an ice cream man on the Hway. And his lucky too, he got a big sale.
Ley, what religious activities are performed in here?- are their regular mass held in the shrine or this is just like a museum?

ive visited other blogs with entries about the shrine before i posted this entry. the number varies. a lot of them indicate that the number is more than 150. other blogs say that it’s only 66. i can’t personally say which is which. i used the back gate. hehe
