That’s how you describe Badian Island.
Thanks to Masil’s younger sister Aubrey – who did an excellent excellent job - for sharing her wonderful photos of the lovely island of Badian. I can’t wait to go there. Badian Island looks gorgeous!
Please do not copy the photos without Aubrey’s permission. Thanks.
Sunset and the waves. Very nice shot.

Boats in mainland Badian which take tourists to the island.

Motorized bancas for rent. The setting looks really inviting. I bet the place is really cool.

Boats slowly moving through the mangroves.

Lone boatman.

Fishing is a major industry in the island. So it’s not uncommon to see hundreds of fishing boats in the surrounding waters.

Clearing. I can see the island!

Badian Island! Woohoo!

That’s the Badian Island Resort and Spa. It’s a high-end resort. Very exclusive.

Another shot of the resort.

Dusk in Badian Island.

Fishermen making sure they caught enough for dinner.

Fresh catch! Wow!

Sunset. Awesome!

They’re going home. What a brilliant shot.

Peace and tranquility. I need that right now. Hehe.

Fishermen at the beach. Lovely shot.

The early bird catches the worm.

A fishing boat. Looking nice.

Fisherman and a young kid.

Fish pen.

Mangroves

A resthouse on the island.

View of the ocean. Wow!

Wow, ganda! Been to Cebu only once. And now, these shots of Badian island. I don;t even know where it is, exactly! The water looks so inviting! I wish I were there right now. What’s the name of the resort? Or is that a private house?
the name of the resort is Badian Island Resort and Spa. I think that resthouse is NOT part of the resort.
Thanks! I’ll be including this in my list! Can’t wait to go there when I’m back in the Philippines for vacation!
the resthouse is not really part of the resort… my sis and her friends just have it rented. and if you wish to go to the resort i guess the resort management will provide their own boats (a nice pampered one = )) that will fetch you right from the mainland to the island, they can even provide helicopter – i heard -, the bancas that are featured above are owned by the locals as their means of transportation in crossing the waters from their city to their place.
very very very nice……..thnks!!!
nasuya ko pagkakita nako sa blue waters!!! waaaaaaaaaah!
i’m a fish out of the water… nag kisi kisi nako!
luv the sun set-it’s gorgeous! i wish i could make a firewall between the reality of it and my ageing. . nyahahhaha . . . .oh, what the heck!! better not to think of it and just enjoy life to the fullest. .
Wow, talk about drop-dead gorgeous. These are really beautiful shots.
I have been to Badian many times because my mother’s family is from there, but have never been to Badian Island. As you’ve said, it’s quite an ‘exclusive’ place. Thanks to these photos, I can now say I’ve seen the it : )
kaanindut gayud sa maong talan-awon.. dili maikalimod ang imong mga maanindut na larawan. makapadasig sa mga turista na mulangyaw gayod dire sa atong syudad sa sugbo.
