So, yeah. After shooting the old structures in Danao City, I drove straight to the beautiful Municipality of Carmen to see the changes in their town plaza. I wanted to know how the new plaza looked like. Well, it’s not really new. I mean, the renovation was done a few months ago. But I’ve never actually seen the changes. The last time I dropped by, the mermaid fountain was still there. Hehehe. Anyways, I knew that Inday Myrna (mother’s day gift ni nako nimo. hehehe) would love to see some updates.

CARMEN, here we come… i hope they have a park for those visitors who like to set up tents for accomodation… maybe next to the beach? i think it’s about time that municipality’s around Cebu should have a disignated camping area that is safe and clean for visiting travellers.I’m pretty sure that travelling and camping will be a big hit for sutdents and younger generations in general. After all we tend to forget that there’s so many places to visit in this island.Just ask Ley… i would like to visit each places in this site and spend a night or 2 sleeping under the million stars above while listening to the ocean… better than staying in a 4 wall hotel, for sure… what do you think Ley?

I’d like to see more camping facilities in Cebu and the Philippines. Here in the US I enjoy the outdoors and would rather camp in a tent than rent a hotel room. But that’s just me. My Filipina wife will camp out only if it’s at Holiday Inn!

Hello Dazz @ Hoz i agree w/u. Would it be nice if there are camping places around Cebu and Phils. I opt for a campervan im too scare to sleep in the tent. >>> Ley is that flag around the plaza or one of the school? Hopefully they change it to new by now<<>>

Ley, well done! I pass by Carmen on my way to Borbon and I do admire their clean public park. Kudos to the LGU and donors for keeping this place safe and clean for all Carmenanons to enjoy! Nindut unta kung ang tanan nga mga lungsod sa Sugbo adunay mga public park nga in-ani para maka-enjoy ang tanan.

Hello mga taga CARMEN, our town fiesta is fast approaching. Im sure the committee are busy preparing for the activities: maybe basketball league, beauty contest, sinulog etc. I used to participate the parade during my high schools days. If i cant go home this 2010 Luyang fiesta , surely i’ll be there on Carmen Town Fiesta 2010. Yeahhhhhhhh
Ley,i compare your first visit in Carmen Plaza (Feb.6,’07) and this new (as new, May 3,’09). Na improve jud diay. And i’ll bet much beautiful this time coz its fiesta next week.

salamat kaayo for the pictures! makes me want to fly home karon dayon hahaha. sa ato pa gisibog diay ang playground paluyo no kay naa naman ang nindot kaayo nga plaza sa daplin gyod sa highway. and it seems wagtangon ang tennis court (or basketball court) as it was called before kay giabunohan man? maglusot2x ra ko sa municipal hall before, I grew up in Cangyan with my grandparents and siblings – naa man gamay nga gate sa luyo, not sure if it’s still there now. nowadays ba sayon ra magsud sa municipal hall? sorry for asking if di ka taga Carmen ha. salamat gyod for the pics.. more power and God bless!
Hi Maya..wala nay basketball court sa atubangan sa municipal nanay bag-o sa gilid kumbaga my gym na cya sarili..tapos sauna kay dagat pamana diha sa my plaza..asa ka dapit sa Cangyan..dako na ugkausaban ang carmen pag uli nimo pwede ka mag istambay sa gabii diha sa plaza..
