Last Saturday, we went to Suba, in Baranggay Pasil for Bisdak Central’s small feeding and gift-giving program. Bisdak Central, an online site for Cebuanos and Visayans, was created by my high school classmate, Vince aka bytebandit. For the group’s first outreach project, we chose the Missionaries of Charity in Pasil. Missionaries of Charity is a small orphanage which houses sick children who were either abandoned or were personally taken there by their parents.
When we arrived at the orphanage, we were met by the kids who happily sang ‘Happy Welcome to You’. They looked really excited as they helped us bring our stuff inside. The kids were very adorable. They were very courteous and friendly and most of them opened up easily.
Sir Wali and Gab enjoying a light moment.

It was an early day for all of us. We woke up early to prepare the food and drinks at sir Ice’s house.

Everyone helped! Thanks guys!

Packing the kids’ lunch.

By 8:00, we were done packing and we were ready to go.

We arrived at the orphanage 30 minutes later. We brought some gifts for the kids as well as a sack of rice, some canned goods, and fruits.

After the prayer, the BC members were asked to pick a kid to interview. After a few minutes, the BC members were asked to talk about the kids that they picked.

Nice to know, their are people like you guys, who are doing kind and generosity to less fortunate kids. More power to Bisdak Central Outreach Project.
Watching you guys preparing and planning to see those children warms my heart.Saying it is one thing but doing it…is the one that counts.I know what is like growing up with nothing. So, to all those people who are lucky enough to live abroad… send something cos every little thing helps. There’s a lot of honest charity group out there that really need some help…Good on you guys for doing it…I hope you guys realise that what you did means a lot to those kids…there’s a saying that kids will never forget…
God bless you, guys! It’s way to go! You made those little kids very happy. Don’t let it be the last one, they need good people like you.
