The entire family went to Catmon today for the ‘dispedida’ of my uncle and my cousin. They are leaving for Saudi soon. They’ll be working in one of the factories there.
We picked a beach resort in Catmon called Recuerdo. Based on my google research, recuerdo means ‘memory’. I wanted to give this post a witty foreign title but when I started using the Yahoo! babelfish language translator, memory became ‘memoria’. LOL.
Anyways, Recuerdo is a pretty nice resort. Entrance fee is only Php 5.00 and the whole place is clean and quiet. Their cottages are cheap – at only Php 200.00. They have areas for ’sugba’ behind the cottages, too. Although the beach is a bit rocky, Recuerdo is still a nice getaway for busy city folks like us.

Kanindot sa provincia, very peaceful indeed! wala pa ko ka-anha diha sa Catmon, will be an addition to lists of places I wanted to see when I come back to Cebu on Oct.

hello nanay. actually, nagpicture2x ko sa christ king prayer garden sa catmon, nakameet mi sa friend sa owner sa aroma. amo siyang gihatod sa motor. iintroduce unta ko niya sa owner, naulaw lang ko. nyahahhhaha.
