Argao is Fishpond Country

8 04 2007

If you travel south, you can never fail to notice the amazing fishponds in Argao. These vast fishponds cover both sides of the road. You will also notice the fish hatcheries that line the south national road.

Huge, huge, huge fishponds.

I’m not sure what those things do. Or why it’s necessary to keep the water moving.

I heard these ponds culture hybrid prawn and milkfish.

As I can remember, Argao is a sleepy town. My aunt & I went looking for chicken eggs everywhere for breakfast.=) It was a sweet memory of my late auntie Rosal.
