After a Jollibee dinner in Jollibee Danao (they close at 8:30. LOL), we dropped by the new Danao Civic Center. It’s a good thing that two teams were actually playing when we got there. At least I got to check the place out. Entrance Fee: Php10.00
The Danao Civic Center is Danao City’s multipurpose gym. It has a huge court and a classy interior. Who’s project was this again? The gym’s facade was all glassy that this new project totally stood out amongst the ‘ruin-like’ structures in Danao. Personally, though the building somewhat reminds you that sports transcends time, I guess, it just doesn’t fit in. I mean, Danao is known for its classy, laid-back, ancestral feel. With countless old buildings, old streets, old plazas and all. So, placing an all-glass sports gym in the heart of the city is just not right. But I could be wrong.
Still, it’s a nice structure. =)

Where is this place located? I have a lot of relatives in Danao and used to stay there every summer. Is this the old multi-purpose building? Nga duol sa merkado>
Please post pictures of my hometown, Consolacion.
This one is just beside Gaisano Danao… I’m not really sure where the merkado is, but I’m sure it’s pretty close.
