I finally visited Casa Gorordo over the weekend. Yay!
Casa Gorordo is a museum near Parian which holds an outstanding collection of Spanish-time pieces. This house, which used to be the home of Cebu’s first Filipino bishop, Juan Gorordo, is so well preserved by the Aboitiz Foundation, you’d get goosebumps as you walk through its hallways and enter its many rooms.

I miss my old neighborhood.
thank you Mr. Coco A:
I’ve been searching for fotos of Casa Gorordo in several websites, i only saw 3 pix but not good ones. Thank you for providing/sharing us your “stolen pix”.
This morning, Feb. 7, 2007 we went inside, met the manager and commented that there are no good pictures of C.G. shown at the website. She told me to just buy the “museum memorabilias and scan…
I would like to use your pictures to show to my students, because I want to share with them the love of heritage structures, buildings and houses.
This way, i can initially instill in them this love by the lovely pictures you also shared with us.
Thanks.
Ms. VAle
OMG, thanks so much. I tried to steal some pics too, but the ones I took weren’t as clear as yours. (goes to show how useless cam phones are…)

anyways, nice ilang inidoro
Hi Yunayz, even if gi-allow ka dala ug cam di gihapon maayo ang shots inside the house. When the museum was first opened okay ra mag-take ug photos sa interior but either di ma-develop or naay laing maapil sa picture. So I guess it was best nga gibawal ang cam.
how much ang entrance sa Casa Gorordo? open ni sila ug Sunday?
